All-Star FAQ

The NASCAR Cup Series will return to North Wilkesboro Speedway with the 39th running of the NASCAR All-Star race on Sunday, May 21, 2023, during the NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season.

Complete ticketing information will be released in the coming weeks. Everyone who joins the “Join The Movement” list will receive updates on ticket details as they become available.

If you made a $25 donation to Speedway Children’s Charities for the Priority-to-Buy list for the 2023 NASCAR All-Star race, You are NOT guaranteed the opportunity to buy tickets to the event or to any specific ticket location. The Priority to Buy List was capped at 1000 fans. You will receive information when plans for ticket sales are determined. Proceeds from your donation will serve children in need in Wilkes County.

Plans for ticket sales will be announced at a later date. Tickets will be limited and subject to availability.

Speedway Children's Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides funding for organizations that meet the direct needs of children. Your $25 donation will directly benefit children living in Wilkes County and the Yadkin Valley. No assurance of what portion of your $25.00 donation, if any, may be claimed as a dedication from federal, state or local income taxes. Please consult your tax advisor as to the deductibility of a donation to Speedway Children’s Charities.

A minimum of three days of fun, entertainment and racing in the northwestern North Carolina mountains! While revitalizing historic North Wilkesboro Speedway, Speedway Motorsports will bring the NASCAR Cup Series back to one of NASCAR’s original tracks for the first time since 1996.

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES will compete on Saturday, May 20, 2023 and the NASCAR All-Star Race will take place on Sunday, May 21. Other fan entertainment and companion events have not been announced yet. To get details on additional event and fan activities when available, sign up for the “Join the Movement” list.

Speedway Motorsports will work closely with the N.C. State Highway Patrol, N.C. Department of Transportation and Wilkes County officials to develop a comprehensive transportation and parking plan that will include park-and-ride options. Details will be communicated to all ticket holders and fans at a later date and car-pooling will be encouraged.
