The stage is set for a historic weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway as the NASCAR Cup Series returns for its first points race on the historic grounds since 1996. While drivers look to etch their names in the history books, the real winners will be the children of Wilkes County through Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC).

Throughout the historic weekend, the North Wilkesboro Speedway nonprofit will host a variety of "fund-racing" events that benefit local organizations serving children throughout Wilkes County.

Here are four ways race fans can make an impact this weekend:

SCC Live Auction
The SCC Live Auction takes center stage this weekend with two live auction events, giving fans the chance to bid on exclusive memorabilia and experiences alongside NASCAR Cup Series drivers Ryan Preece, Noah Gragson, Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano. The auctions will take place Saturday from 7:45-8:45 p.m. on the Trackside Live stage and Sunday from 3:45-4:45 p.m. on the Speedway Experience presented by Cracker Barrel stage.

Auction items will include signed Ryan Preece shoes, Darrell Waltrip's winning flag from the 1984 Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro Speedway, two VIP passes for Sunday’s Window World 450 and more.

50/50 Raffle presented by Campbell Roofing
The children of Wilkes County and one lucky fan will both win big with the Speedway Children’s Charities 50/50 Raffle presented by Campbell Roofing. Fans can purchase tickets in person beginning Friday, July 17, or online through Sunday, July 19. Half of every ticket sold will benefit children throughout Wilkes County, while the remaining half will go to ONE lucky winner.

Ticket purchase options are:

  • 1 ticket for $10
  • 10 tickets for $20
  • 100 tickets for $40
  • BONUS BUY: 400 tickets for $100

The winning ticket will be drawn on Monday, July 20, following the historic Window World 450.

Take Home History
Fans can take home a piece of North Wilkesboro Speedway history with souvenir jars filled with asphalt from the iconic track surface that remained in place for more than four decades before being repaved. Souvenir jars are available for $40, with proceeds benefiting Wilkes County nonprofits through Speedway Children's Charities.

Fans can also celebrate Christmas in July by purchasing a limited-edition North Wilkesboro Speedway Speedway Children's Charities ornament.

Round Up for Hope
Fans can also make a difference before ever arriving at the track. Throughout July, Speedway Children's Charities is partnering with local IGA stores for the Round Up for Kids campaign. Customers can round up their purchases to the nearest dollar at checkout, with 100% of donations staying local to support organizations serving children with critical needs throughout the region.

Every bid, raffle ticket, keepsake purchase and roundup donation helps Speedway Children's Charities continue its mission of uplifting the lives of children in need throughout Wilkes County. Together, race fans can help ensure local children have the support, care and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.
